Hosted by the whackiest newsreaders Max and Mia, Newsflash takes kids on a hilarious journey to help solve mysteries that are important to them.
The show combines musical singalongs, science, movement, imagination, and audience participation to create something that is entertaining first, while naturally encouraging kids to learn, think, and get involved.

Max
Max is all energy, big gestures, and even bigger reactions. He lives for the breaking part of breaking news, especially if it involves confetti, costumes, or a dramatic sound effect. Max is the kid at the desk who might accidentally announce a birthday party as a natural disaster, but he does it with such flair you can’t help but smile. His love of big reveals, bold blazers, and getting slightly ahead of himself makes him endlessly entertaining, and secretly very endearing.
Mia
Mia brings brains, balance, and just enough sass to keep Max in check. She’s quick-thinking, detail-oriented, and always ready with a helpful correction or an emergency backup plan (and boy, does she need it). But don’t let the clipboard fool you, Mia loves a good joke, a wild story, and a sneaky pun. She’s the glue that holds NEWSFLASH together, anchoring every broadcast with curiosity, confidence, and a killer eyebrow raise.

Newsflash was originally created as a children's YouTube series, with a collection of 20 episodes already produced and a world of characters, stories, and ideas ready to explore.
Now we're excited to take the next step and develop NEWSFLASH LIVE - a live stage show for kids and families.
The Newsflash newsroom becomes the centre of the action, with Max and Mia attempting to keep control while the audience becomes part of the Newsflash team.
Kids don't just sit and watch the story. They help solve it.
They can shout out answers, look for clues, join in with songs, get involved with challenges, and help our newsreaders solve the mystery!
